Like everyone at Boulder Associates, Kristi believes architecture and design can make a difference in people's lives, and in the global community, too. Dedicated to sustainable design, Kristi headed the Boulder Associates team working on Boulder Community Foothills Hospital - a project which was certified as the first LEED hospital in 2003. "This shattered the notion that LEED certification was incompatible with the durability, infection control, and energy usage requirements of healthcare," Kristi explains. A graduate of the Ecosa Institute, she is a recognized national speaker. "I believe it is our responsibility to share best practices so the global community can move more quickly towards sustainability," she says.
