Dan Schneider joined Boulder Associates in 2002. Over time his focus has evolved from traditionally managed healthcare projects to those that incorporate the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) approach. Dan is now a firm leader in IPD, which organizes a project’s owner, architect, engineers, contractor, and sub-contractors in a collaborative team with common goals: good design, job efficiency, and cost control. Dan notes that “by aligning the interests of the team, energy can be focused on the art of building.” He is optimistic for the future of IPD, and believes that "the combination of a composite Building Information Model (BIM), Lean construction principles, and an integrated team is powerful. It’s an exciting time to be practicing architecture."
