The Surgery Center at Lutheran

This tenant improvement project challenged the design team to plan for a functional, efficient surgery center in a less-than-ideal existing space – and make it beautiful and sustainable.

Boulder Associates wanted to provide an environment that would minimize stress for patients and caregivers. Pre-op, recovery, and operating rooms were all arranged along outside walls, making the most of natural light.

Decorative resin panels provide privacy and allow treetop views. A welcoming color palette and cluster areas in the main lobby offer a peaceful place for families to wait.
