January 1, 2012
As of January 1, 2012, Boulder Associates architects Jim Siedler and Stacey Root have been promoted to Senior Associate. Amber Brodie, Jessica Claflin, Mary Fiore, and Young Sup Won have been promoted to the Associate level.
Jim Siedler, AIA, holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado at Denver, and has been with Boulder Associates since 1997. With an extensive background in designing rehabilitation centers and community clinics, he focuses on creating spaces that are welcoming, efficient, and comfortable for clients and patients alike. “My goal is to make buildings that work for everyone. If the staff is working in a proactive environment, they’ll be able to perform better and treat their patients more effectively. This will in turn improve the healthcare experience for patients and their families. I love fostering that connection between staff and patients, and strive to ensure the facilities we design work full-circle to create the best possible environment for people seeking care.”
Stacey Root, AIA, received her Master of Architecture from the University of Texas, and is a LEED AP BD+C. She joined Boulder Associates in 2008 and gained experience working on an Integrated Project Delivery team based in California. Participating in the success of this innovative method inspired her to become a founding core group member of the Lean Construction Institute Colorado Community of Practice, a diverse group of professionals that aims to push the boundaries of better collaboration across the OAC community, and to link design to a thorough understanding of our clients’ business models. “Using a lean approach, we design by thinking of a building as a living, breathing structure that fully supports and overlaps the process of practicing medicine from all perspectives.” Stacey enthusiastically supports Boulder Associates’ mission of continuous improvement in our design, internal processes, and client service.
Amber Brodie, AIA, joined Boulder Associates in 2010. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a Master of Architecture and is a LEED AP BD+C.
Jessica Claflin, AIA, has been with Boulder Associates since 2006. Jessica received her Master of Architecture at the Savannah College of Art and Design, and is a LEED AP BD+C.
Mary Fiore, AIA, joined Boulder Associates in 2006. She is a LEED AP BD+C and holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Virginia.
Young Sup Won, AIA, has been with Boulder Associates since 2004. He received his Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
