Mike Oswald has over 25 years of experience in operations leadership, program management, and engineering, Mike is a master lean consultant who partners with healthcare, construction, manufacturing, and logistics organizations to drive performance, strategy execution, experience enhancement, and capacity building.​​

Previously, Mike served as Director of Operational Excellence at Advocate Health (formerly Atrium Health), where he led improvements across emergency departments, labs, pharmacies, radiology, behavioral health, and inpatient services. Notably, he spearheaded the design and implementation of a new core laboratory—recognized as the best-performing lab in the U.S. Mike also spent five years with Toyota, where he held an operational leadership role during the launch and production of the Tundra. His executive leadership is grounded in hands-on experience, shaped early in his career through work in the trades.

Certified in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt) and as a Scrum Master, Mike brings a unique blend of theory and practical insight. He has a deep interest in leadership and process improvement, especially within healthcare and materials management. His background includes seven years as a certified EMT and first responder, giving him firsthand experience in patient care and community service. Outside of work, Mike enjoys DIY projects, motorcycle riding with his wife, and staying active through various physical pursuits.

Mike earned his B.A. in Business Management from Silver Lake College, holds an Emergency Medical Technician certification from CPCC, a Behavioral Health First Aid certificate from Atrium Health, and completed the International Management Program at the Stockholm School of Economics.
