McKee Cancer Center  |  Loveland, Colorado

This dynamic 13,500 s.f. cancer center’s comprehensive care program includes medical oncology, radiation oncology, and alternative therapies. Winding along the east side of the building is a bubbling brook that patients can view through large glass windows while receiving treatment. The exterior curved wall feature carries into the interior of the building with a stone fireplace in the waiting area.

An addition and renovation project completed in 2013 increased the facility size to 19,067 s.f. and extended corridors to a connecting campus building. The redesign included revising the front reception desk and nurse station for privacy and acoustics purposes, upgrading treatment planning work space and physicist offices, plus the addition of a linear accelerator vault, conference rooms, and physician, data entry, social work, and research offices.
