Santa Rosa Ambulatory Surgery Center  |  Santa Rosa, California

Located at the new Santa Rosa Campus, this surgery center is a direct replacement of an aging facility and includes the expansion of clinical capacity and support spaces. The design program called for additional shell space for potential GI procedure service in the future. The design team, owner and construction manager worked closely to best arrange and evaluate design and cost options and the short and long term impacts of each. The final design optimizes the space for its immediate use while providing room to
grow for GI.

The project had a very tight overall schedule which included a mandated open date to match the new hospital’s opening date. Shell delays of nearly six months were overcome and a design and permit were delivered for on time construction.
