This 7,530 s.f.  OSHPD 3 facility represents Adventist Health’s vision of providing a positive, compassionate environment that cares for the total person. The patient-centered medical plaza offers creative features including a “kid cave” play area, refreshment bar, private staff patio, exterior gardens, water features, and an indoor living green wall. These unique elements—envisioned by the consultant Starizon Studio and implemented by Boulder Associates—offer a welcoming place of comfort to patients, their families, and staff. ​​​The facility also houses a combination of lab, urgent care, and occupational health services, and an imaging center with X-ray, CT, and ultrasound.

Adventist Health’s goal was to bring new services to the area, and create a positive experience and environment for staff, patients, and their families. To that end, they commissioned Starizon Dream Studio to develop a “dream book”, which positioned the vision for the patient experience. The design team took the inspirations of the dream book and adapted it into a unique real world space that served patients
and providers.
