This project reimagines a 65,000-square-foot, three-floor workplace organized around a clear and intuitive diagram: arriving from the elevator, you’re immediately oriented toward one of two distinct zones. One side opens onto a vibrant social hub, including kitchenettes, bookable conference rooms, a study, and informal work settings that invite choice and movement throughout the day. The other side leads into team neighborhoods, quieter areas with dedicated rooms and scrum spaces that belong to each team rather than the floor at large.
Together, these zones create a complete workplace on a single floor that accommodates heads-down focus, collaboration, social gathering, and everything in between, without relying on separate amenity floors.
The team neighborhood zones are defined by screens, shaped to guide users intuitively through the floor, protect team privacy from the corridor, and define team entries. The screens incorporate custom graphics printed on recycled acoustic material, turning a functional element into a source of visual character throughout the floor.
Within the neighborhoods, small rooms are paired with open scrum areas anchored by whiteboards and soft seating, giving teams a range of settings for both private and collaborative work. Throughout the floor, users can find booth seating, enclosed phone rooms, and open collaboration nooks that offer additional choices for how and where work happens.
The overall design language is rooted in a nature-based design concept. This approach optimizes natural light, implements horticulture in high-impact locations that are experienced from multiple angles, and utilizes natural materials and colors inspired by nature. Exposed ceilings with organically shaped acoustic baffles add height and openness while maintaining acoustic softness. The overall result is a highly functional and layered space that is calming, airy, and intuitive.
