Boulder Associate Architects named Dan Schneider, AIA, as senior associate effective January 1, 2010. Additionally, four new associates were named.
Dan joined the Boulder Associates Boulder office in 2003. He is a registered architect in Colorado and California, and is a LEED AP BD+C. In 2009, Dan relocated to Boulder Associates’ San Francisco project office to work on the Van Ness Medical Office Building project. Dan’s expertise in the Choosing By Advantages Decision making System has made him an asset to the project, which is using an Integrated Project Delivery Team approach to increase productivity and reduce costs.
Boulder Associates’ new associates, all from the Boulder office, are: Jason Christiansen, AIA, Darin Hendrixson, IIDA; Paula Sullivan, AIA; and Michael Zabritski, Assoc. AIA.
Jason joined Boulder Associates in 2006 and is currently working on the Van Ness Medical Office Building project. Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental design from the University of Colorado, and is a LEED AP BD+C.
Darin joined the firm in 2002 and has 13 years of design experience. He holds a bachelor’s degree in interior architecture from Kansas State University, and is certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification. Darin is currently working on a medical office building project for Oregon Medical Group in Eugene, Oregon.
Paula Sullivan joined Boulder Associates in 2000, and has more than 15 years of experience. She has a bachelor’s degree in environmental design from the University of Colorado and is a LEED AP BD+C. Paula has worked on many community health centers including one of her current projects, a remodel for Clinica Family Health Services.
Michael Zabritski, who joined the firm in 2004, serves as the digital design manager, overseeing CAD and BIM technologies. Michael holds a bachelor of architecture from Louisiana State University. He has more than 16 years of professional experience.
